Football Highlights the 2026 Vinachem Northern Region Workers’ Sports Festival
The football tournament, part of the 2026 Workers’ Sports Festival of the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) for the Northern Region held at the Cultural Center of Vietnam Apatit Limited Liability Company, became one of the most captivating events for a large number of staff, workers, and local residents.
Eight teams from the Parent Company’s Office and member units participated in the tournament. Over several days of competition, the teams delivered exciting matches, featuring many beautiful plays and intense duels, all while maintaining a spirit of solidarity and fair play.
Right from the opening matches, the atmosphere on the field was electric, with enthusiastic cheers from the crowd. Roars erupted after each dangerous attack and every beautiful goal, providing extra motivation for the players to give their best.
The teams entered the tournament well-prepared in terms of squad and tactics. Many matches were evenly contested, remaining thrilling until the final moments. Several encounters were only decided in the dying minutes, creating dramatic and emotional moments.
After the rounds of competition, the DAP No. 2 Joint Stock Company team displayed consistent form, cohesive and effective play to claim the championship. Supe Phosphate and Chemical Lam Thao Joint Stock Company finished as runners-up. The joint third prizes went to DAP – Vinachem Joint Stock Company and Vietnam Apatit Limited Liability Company.

In addition to technical quality, this year’s tournament was marked by the serious competitive spirit of all teams. Players strictly followed the rules, respected the referees’ decisions, and displayed sportsmanship, unity, and civility throughout the competition.
As the team event with the largest number of participants at the festival, football was not only a platform to improve physical fitness but also an opportunity for staff and workers from various units to interact, strengthen understanding, and foster bonds. Through the matches, team spirit, cooperation, and determination spread, contributing to the overall success of the 2026 Vinachem Northern Region Workers’ Sports Festival.
As the tournament concluded, the medals and titles were well-deserved rewards for the outstanding teams. But what remains most memorable is the vibrant sporting atmosphere, the spirit of solidarity, and the beautiful moments created by the athletes on the Lao Cai pitch. This was also one of the festival’s highlights, enriching the cultural and spiritual life of all Vinachem staff and workers.
