Announcement of the Appointment of Mr. Nguyễn Viết Hiến as General Director of Apatit Vietnam Company Limited
On the afternoon of 8 September, at Cam Duong Ward, Apatit Vietnam Company Limited held a ceremony to announce decisions on the appointment of Members of the Members’ Council and the General Director of the company. Mr. Phùng Quang Hiệp, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Members’ Council of the Vietnam National Chemical Group, attended and assigned tasks.
At the ceremony, the Vietnam National Chemical Group announced the decision appointing Ms. Nguyễn Thị Mai, Deputy Head of the Technical Division of the Group, to concurrently serve as Member of the Members’ Council of Apatit Vietnam Company Limited for a five-year term.
The Group also announced Decision No. 468/QĐ-HCVN dated 26 August 2026 on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Nguyễn Viết Hiến, Member of the Members’ Council and General Director of Dam Ninh Binh Company Limited, as Member of the Members’ Council of Apatit Vietnam Company Limited from 3 September 2026, for a five-year term.
The Members’ Council of Apatit Vietnam Company Limited announced Decision No. 1268/QĐ-APTVN dated 3 September 2026 appointing Mr. Nguyễn Viết Hiến as General Director, for a five-year term.
Also on the afternoon of 8 September, the Party Committee of Cam Duong Ward announced the decision to appoint Mr. Nguyễn Viết Hiến to the Executive Committee of the Cam Duong Ward Party Committee, serving as Secretary of the Party Committee of Apatit Vietnam Company Limited.
Drawing on Experience to Lead Apatit Vietnam Forward
In his remarks, Mr. Phùng Quang Hiệp, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Members’ Council of the Vietnam National Chemical Group, congratulated the appointees and expressed his confidence that they will make the most of their abilities and experience in management and enterprise administration; working together with the leadership team of Apatit Vietnam Company Limited to fulfil their assigned tasks.
He urged Apatit Vietnam Company Limited to continue promoting unity, proactively working with Lao Cai province to resolve difficulties in production and business operations, and to drive growth.
The company should also continue to build a strong team and maintain its position as a leading unit within the Vietnam National Chemical Group.
In his acceptance speech, Mr. Nguyễn Viết Hiến expressed his gratitude for the trust and assignment from the leadership of the Vietnam National Chemical Group, and affirmed his commitment to working with the leadership team to focus on fulfilling assigned tasks.
In his new position, Mr. Nguyễn Viết Hiến stated that he and the company will continue to uphold the Apatit Vietnam brand, building on its 71-year tradition of development; continue to contribute to the state budget and ensure effective social welfare in Lao Cai province.
Mr. Nguyễn Viết Hiến was born in 1972 in Pho Yen Ward, Thai Nguyen Province; he holds a degree in mechanical engineering, a Master’s in Project Management, and an Advanced Certificate in Political Theory.
Mr. Nguyễn Viết Hiến has nearly 30 years of work experience, holding various management, executive, and project management positions in enterprises in the construction, installation, and oil and gas sectors. Since 2022, he has served as Member of the Members’ Council and General Director of Dam Ninh Binh Company Limited, and since April 2023 as Secretary of the company’s Party Committee.
With his management and enterprise administration experience, Mr. Nguyễn Viết Hiến will, together with the leadership, staff, and workers of Apatit Vietnam Company Limited, fulfil assigned tasks and further uphold the 71-year tradition of the company.
