Bringing Green Solutions to the Fields: Vinachem’s Mark at the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union

On the morning of June 8 at the National Convention Center, the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union (2026–2031 term) officially opened, attended by Party and State leaders, ministries, central and local agencies, and numerous delegates representing Vietnam’s farmers nationwide.

The Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) participated with the presence of General Director Nguyễn Hữu Tú and organized a display space for outstanding fertilizer and agricultural input products from its member units. This activity helped showcase technological innovation achievements and solutions for effective, environmentally friendly agricultural production, affirming Vinachem’s role in accompanying farmers on the journey toward green and sustainable agriculture.

Within the Congress, Vinachem’s booth welcomed many Party and State leaders, central ministries and agencies, and numerous delegates to visit and learn about the Group’s agricultural products developed and produced by its member companies.

At the booth, Vinachem General Director Nguyễn Hữu Tú directly introduced to leaders and delegates a number of next-generation organic fertilizers developed by Lam Thao Superphosphate and Chemicals JSC, Binh Dien Fertilizer JSC, and Southern Fertilizer JSC. These products aim to improve nutrient efficiency, restore soil health, reduce environmental impact, and meet the requirements of green and sustainable agricultural development.

In addition to fertilizers, Vinachem also introduced the Vinachem Agriculture platform—a digital ecosystem connecting knowledge, data, and experts in agriculture. This platform is designed to help farmers access scientific, authoritative information, contributing to digital transformation and the development of modern, sustainable agriculture.

Especially notable, Binh Dien Fertilizer JSC brought a virtual reality (VR) experience to the Congress, allowing delegates and farmers to explore modern cultivation solutions and the application of technology in agriculture firsthand.

As a core and pioneering enterprise in Vietnam’s chemical industry, Vinachem is a major supplier of agricultural inputs. In fertilizers alone, the Group’s member units account for over 40% of the domestic market share, playing an important role in ensuring the supply of fertilizers for agricultural production and national food security.

Through its activities at the Congress, Vinachem continues to affirm its role as a key state-owned enterprise in Vietnam’s chemical industry, accompanying farmers and the agricultural sector on the path to green, modern development. This is a practical step in implementing Resolution No. 79-NQ/TW of the Politburo, enhancing the leading role of state-owned enterprises in key sectors of the economy.
