Chairman of the Members’ Council of Vietnam National Chemical Group Attends the Conference “Enterprises Contributing to Double-Digit Growth”
On the morning of March 27 in Hanoi, the conference titled “Enterprises Contributing to Double-Digit Growth and the Prime Minister’s Appreciation of Businesses” was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính. The event was attended by representatives from numerous corporations, state-owned groups, and major enterprises nationwide.

Speaking at the conference, the Prime Minister emphasized that the 2021–2025 period has unfolded amid unprecedented and complex global and regional fluctuations. Enterprises have faced a wide range of challenges, including supply chain disruptions, shrinking markets, tariff barriers, as well as the impacts of natural disasters and floods.
However, thanks to decisive leadership, effective governance, and strategic policy decisions, the economy has overcome these challenges and achieved significant and comprehensive results. These achievements serve as a foundation for Vietnam to pursue double-digit growth in the coming period, contributing to the realization of the country’s long-term development goals.
Highlighting development requirements in the new context, the Prime Minister affirmed that achieving an average growth rate of 10% or higher is a strategic task. To realize this goal, science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation will play a fundamental role, with enterprises positioned at the center as the key drivers of development.

The Prime Minister also called on the business community to strongly transform growth models, promote new growth drivers, and enhance the efficiency of traditional ones. At the same time, efforts should be made to develop enterprises with regional and global scale; encourage household businesses to grow into formal enterprises; and support small and medium-sized enterprises in scaling up and integrating more deeply into global value chains.
In addition, it is essential to effectively seize opportunities from the digital economy, green economy, and free trade agreements (FTAs); improve labor productivity and the quality of human resources; and strengthen the economy’s self-reliance and competitiveness.

The conference served as an important forum for the Government and the business community to exchange views and propose solutions aimed at achieving rapid and sustainable growth. The participation of Vinachem’s leadership demonstrates its proactive spirit and commitment to accompanying the Government in contributing to the economy’s double-digit growth target.
