Director General of Vietnam National Chemical Group Visits and Extends Lunar New Year Greetings to Viet–Lao Chemical and Rock Salt Company Limited
On the morning of February 5, 2026, a delegation from Vietnam National Chemical Group (VINACHEM) visited, extended Lunar New Year greetings, and held a working session with Viet–Lao Chemical and Rock Salt Company Limited in the atmosphere of the approaching early days of Spring.
The delegation was led by Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director General of the Group. Accompanying the delegation were Ms. Nguyễn Thị Thu Bình, Member of the Members’ Council, and Ms. Hồ Thị Mai Hương, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union.

At the meeting, Mr. Đới Đăng Chính – Director General of Viet–Lao Chemical and Rock Salt Company Limited – delivered a brief report on the company’s Lunar New Year preparations and work implementation. In line with the Group’s directives on ensuring employees’ welfare and maintaining project progress during the Lunar New Year holiday, the Company had proactively developed plans early, organizing timely implementation in accordance with actual conditions.

Salary, bonus, and Tet welfare policies were fully and transparently implemented. Employees’ living standards have continued to improve markedly, with the average income in 2025 increasing by approximately 30% compared to 2024. Additionally, due to the fact that partners and contractors in Laos do not observe the Lunar New Year holiday as in Vietnam, the Company’s staff, workers, and engineers have consistently prioritized work, maintaining operations throughout Tet and remaining ready to coordinate and hold online meetings at any time to handle tasks and ensure overall project progress.
Speaking at the meeting, Director General Nguyễn Hữu Tú acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit of effort and solidarity demonstrated by the Company’s management and employees over the past period. Despite numerous challenges, the unit has remained steadfast in its work, adhered closely to project timelines, and completed a significant workload, thereby contributing to keeping the project on schedule.
Sharing updates on the Group’s overall situation, Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú noted that 2025 marked a year of many positive milestones. The Group exceeded its assigned targets, achieving the highest revenue in its history at nearly VND 65 trillion, with profits reaching approximately VND 4 trillion—significantly higher than the previous year and surpassing the plan. The average income of employees across the Group reached about VND 16.65 million per person per month, up 12% compared to 2024. The Group also fulfilled its growth target early, attaining a rate of 10.3% in 2025.
For the 2026–2030 period, the Group aims to maintain double-digit growth, with the Potash Rock Salt Project in Laos identified as one of the key growth drivers. This project holds not only economic significance but also contributes to further strengthening the special cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Laos. It has received close attention from the Party and Government leaders of both countries; therefore, the Group has mobilized substantial resources for its implementation in recent years.
The Director General also commended the Company’s role in coordinating with functional departments and consulting units to accelerate progress while still ensuring quality.

On the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year Bính Ngọ 2026, on behalf of the Group’s leadership, Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú expressed his gratitude to all employees of the Company for their continued companionship, trust, and dedication to the Group’s development. He extended his wishes for good health, peace, and unity, encouraging the workforce to remain determined to successfully accomplish all tasks in the new year.

In response to the Group leadership’s remarks and encouragement, Mr. Đới Đăng Chính expressed sincere appreciation for the close attention and positive recognition given to the Company’s collective workforce. This serves as a great source of motivation for the unit to continue striving ahead. The Company will fully absorb the directives, closely follow the Group’s overall orientation, and implement tasks effectively—contributing to the early completion of the project and to the Group’s overall growth.
