General Director Nguyễn Hữu Tú Visits and Encourages Workers at Site 19 and Yellow Phosphorus Plant

In response to Workers' Month 2026 and with the spirit of caring for workers, on May 22, a delegation from the Vietnam National Chemical Group led by General Director Nguyễn Hữu Tú visited, encouraged, and worked with employees at Site 19 of Apatit Vietnam Co., Ltd., as well as the Yellow Phosphorus Plant of Apatit Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Southern Basic Chemicals Joint Stock Company.

The delegation included Mr. Chu Văn Giáp, Member of the Members’ Council; Mr. Lê Hoàng – Standing Member of the Party Committee, Standing Member of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union, Deputy General Director; Mr. Nguyễn Văn Luyện – Deputy General Director; Mr. Tăng Văn Quân – Group Controller; Mr. Phùng Ngọc Bộ – Head of Technical Department, Chairman of the Group’s Trade Union, along with representatives from several specialized departments.

The visit took place in the meaningful atmosphere of Workers' Month, reflecting the deep concern, responsibility, and affection of the Group's leadership towards the staff and workers. Beyond focusing on business and production, the leadership always pays special attention to the living conditions, jobs, welfare, income, and both material and spiritual well-being of employees at all units.

At Site 19 and the Yellow Phosphorus Plant (Apatit Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Southern Basic Chemicals JSC), General Director Nguyễn Hữu Tú and the delegation directly visited and inquired about the living and working conditions of staff and workers; listened to their concerns, wishes, and feedback. In the warm, close-knit spirit of Workers' Month, the Group’s leadership kindly encouraged workers to maintain solidarity and peace of mind at work, while requesting that the units continue to ensure full implementation of policies and proper care for the material and spiritual lives of employees.

After the on-site inspection, General Director Nguyễn Hữu Tú acknowledged the units’ efforts in maintaining stable production, ensuring occupational and equipment safety, protecting the environment, and taking good care of workers’ livelihoods, jobs, and incomes. He emphasized that the units should continue to maximize production capacity, optimize management, improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency, while also focusing on building a safe and stable working environment and providing better conditions for employees to feel secure and remain committed to the company long term.

The Group’s leadership also called on the units to focus on boosting business and production, effectively leveraging their potential and advantages to contribute to the Group’s achievement of the double-digit growth targets set by the Party, Government, and Ministry of Finance for 2026. This is not only a business task but also a responsibility of the entire chemical sector in contributing to the country's overall economic growth.

Speaking at the working session, General Director Nguyễn Hữu Tú affirmed that workers are always at the center of all business and production activities and are the foundation for sustainable development. Therefore, the units must continue to uphold their traditions of solidarity, responsibility, proactive innovation, and at the same time, further improve the material and spiritual lives and working conditions so that workers always feel secure and stay committed to the company.

This working trip during Workers' Month 2026 brought great encouragement and motivation to the staff and workers at the units. The attention, support, and close guidance from the Group’s leadership continue to inspire the workforce to maintain solidarity, proactively innovate, unite, overcome difficulties, and strive to successfully fulfill the 2026 business and production targets, contributing to the sustainable development of the Vietnam National Chemical Group.
