Improving business efficiency, consolidating markets, continuing governance renewal, and ensuring jobs and incomes for employees are the key priorities emphasised by Mr. Nguyễn Đình Khoát upon taking up his role as Member of the Members’ Council and General Director of Dam Ninh Binh Company Limited.

On 8 September 2026, the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) and Dam Ninh Binh Company Limited held a ceremony to announce the appointment of Mr. Nguyễn Đình Khoát as Member of the Members’ Council and General Director of Dam Ninh Binh Company Limited.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyễn Minh Tiến, Head of the Internal Affairs Commission of Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Trương Công Khải, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial People’s Committee’s Party Committee; and other local leaders.

From Vinachem, there were Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú, Deputy Party Secretary, Member of the Members’ Council, and General Director; as well as other Group and company leaders and senior staff.

According to Decision No. 469/QĐ-HCVN dated 26 August 2026 of Vinachem’s Members’ Council, Mr. Nguyễn Đình Khoát was transferred and appointed as Member of the Members’ Council of Dam Ninh Binh Company Limited from 3 September 2026. The appointment term is five years, effective from the date of signing.

On 3 September 2026, the company’s Members’ Council issued Decision No. 1528/QĐ-ĐNB appointing Mr. Nguyễn Đình Khoát, Member of the Members’ Council, as General Director of Dam Ninh Binh Company Limited, for a five-year term from 3 September 2026.

Before this assignment, Mr. Nguyễn Đình Khoát held several managerial positions within the Group and its member units, including Head of Investment and Construction at Vinachem; Chairman of Viet Tri Chemical Joint Stock Company; Board Member and General Director of Casumina.

Improving Efficiency, Aiming for Sustainable Development

In his address, Vinachem General Director Nguyễn Hữu Tú congratulated Mr. Nguyễn Đình Khoát on his new responsibilities and highlighted the challenges facing Dam Ninh Binh in the period ahead.

Dam Ninh Binh holds an important position within Vinachem. In recent years, the company has faced many difficulties, but through the efforts of successive leaders and staff, operations have stabilised and business results have improved.

However, significant pressures remain, as the fertiliser market continues to be fiercely competitive, with volatile input and energy prices, and ever greater demands for efficiency, corporate governance, and labour productivity.

Given this, the Vinachem General Director tasked the new General Director of Dam Ninh Binh with quickly assessing the situation, comprehensively reviewing all aspects of business, finance, investment, technology, market, labour, and organisational structure; accurately identifying issues and shortcomings, and proposing concrete solutions with clear responsibilities and timelines.

He stressed that improved efficiency must be the overriding requirement in managing Dam Ninh Binh: “The Group requires not only safe and stable production, but efficient and sustainable development.”

The company is asked to maintain stable production, increase capacity, reduce consumption, cut costs, and raise labour productivity. At the same time, it should continue to optimise equipment utilisation, production lines, and raw material efficiency, to enhance product quality and competitiveness. Alongside production, Dam Ninh Binh should consolidate its distribution network, anticipate market needs, improve product quality and customer service, and continue to strengthen its brand in the fertiliser market. The company should also focus on market expansion and exports to create further opportunities for its products.

Vinachem’s General Director also called on the company to continue governance renewal, streamline the organisational structure for efficiency, and improve the quality and utilisation of human resources. Science, technology, and innovation must be vigorously promoted in line with Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, linked to digital transformation, green transition, and greater production and management efficiency. Risk management, finance, investment, procurement, bidding, asset management, safety, fire prevention, and environmental management must all be tightly controlled in accordance with regulations. Above all, the company must take care of employees’ livelihoods, build a safe working environment, and foster a supportive atmosphere so staff can feel secure and make the most of their abilities.

General Director Nguyễn Hữu Tú also thanked Mr. Nguyễn Viết Hiến, former General Director of Dam Ninh Binh, for his contributions during his tenure.
In addition to the requirements for the new leader, he called on the Party Committee, Members’ Council, Board of Directors, and all staff and employees at Dam Ninh Binh to maintain unity and support the new General Director in fulfilling his duties. The Group will continue to support and facilitate the company in overcoming difficulties, unlocking potential, improving performance, and working together to achieve all assigned tasks.

Linking Company Development with Employee Welfare

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Nguyễn Đình Khoát expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him by the Group’s leadership and the company’s Members’ Council, and gave his commitment to take on board the directives and tasks assigned by the General Director.

He stressed that unity, discipline, and responsibility must be maintained throughout the company; that the leadership team and management must be hands-on, listen to staff, and foster consensus in carrying out tasks.

In management, Mr. Nguyễn Đình Khoát emphasised the need to focus above all on business efficiency. The company will prioritise safe, stable plant operation, effective equipment utilisation, consumption and cost control, while being more proactive with the market, continuing governance renewal, and improving the use of all resources.

Alongside efficiency, the new General Director placed special emphasis on employees: “All business results must ultimately ensure jobs, incomes, working conditions, and the confidence of our staff.”

He stated that the company will continue building a safe, professional, and fair working environment; promoting unity, responsibility, and close bonds among generations of Dam Ninh Binh staff.

In his new role, Mr. Nguyễn Đình Khoát pledged, together with the leadership and workforce, to foster unity, discipline, responsibility, and to strive to fulfil duties, improve performance, and pursue stable, sustainable development.
