The year 2025 marks a breakthrough period for Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) amid a volatile global economic landscape. Global growth declined, geopolitical conflicts escalated, trade tensions persisted; Vietnam's economy also faced slow market demand recovery, intensified competition, and complex natural disasters. Confronting these challenges, Vinachem – in its role as a pillar of the nation's foundational industry – proactively adapted and implemented breakthrough solutions, determined to "not talk about difficulties, only propose solutions" according to the action motto promoted from the beginning of the year. Thanks to this spirit, Vinachem not only maintained stable production and business operations but also surged forward powerfully, exceeding set targets and creating proud milestones in 2025.

Below are 10 representative events in Vinachem's 2025, reflecting the most outstanding achievements across the Group's operational fields:

1. Progress in Potash Salt Mining Project in Laos

Right from January 2025, the Potash Salt Mining and Processing Project in Khammouane Province (Lao PDR) reached an important milestone. Vinachem officially received a project construction permit from the Lao Ministry of Energy and Mines, witnessed by high-level leaders of both countries. This is a key cooperation project between the Governments of Vietnam and Laos, promising to help secure potassium raw materials for domestic fertilizer production. By November 2025, within the framework of Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc's visit and working trip to Laos, Vinachem's leadership was honored to accompany the delegation and participate in working sessions with the General Secretary and President of Laos and the high-level Lao leadership delegation to exchange ideas and promote investment cooperation for the aforementioned project. The special attention from both governments affirms the strategic importance of the project, while creating momentum for Vinachem to accelerate the realization of its goal of self-sufficiency in critical raw materials.

2. Consolidation of Key Leadership Personnel

In 2025, Vinachem consolidated its leadership apparatus, supplementing key personnel to enhance management capacity. In January 2025, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu was appointed Deputy Party Secretary, Member of the Members' Council, and General Director of the Group. This was an important change in the highest executive leadership position, contributing fresh vitality to the direction of the Group's production and business operations. Along with this, Vinachem appointed Mr. Tran Quoc Cuong as Chief Accountant – Head of the Group's Finance and Accounting Department, completing the finance and accounting team to strengthen transparency and management efficiency. By early October 2025, Vinachem continued to consolidate its apparatus when announcing the decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Van Luyen as Deputy General Director of the Group. The timely consolidation of key leadership positions ensures that Vinachem has a solid, united command team, ready to successfully execute strategic tasks.

3. Commemorating the 135th Anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's Birth: "Greening" Movement and Chemical Industry Digital Transformation – Launch of VinachemMart E-commerce Platform "Made in Vinachem"

Towards the goal of sustainable development associated with learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, Vinachem solemnly organized the commemoration of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth in May 2025. At this event, the Group launched the "greening" movement and digital transformation of the chemical industry, calling on the entire industry to promote environmental protection and apply digital technology in production and business. Alongside this, Vinachem opened a thematic exhibition "President Ho Chi Minh and the Chemical Industry – Memories and Faith," introducing the historical milestones and achievements of the chemical industry associated with Uncle Ho's career. The event was also an occasion for Vinachem to launch a series of consumer products bearing the VINACHEM brand, while officially introducing the VinachemMart e-commerce platform – a modern distribution channel serving consumers nationwide.

4. Promoting Strategic Cooperation Agreements Domestically

To expand linkages and leverage synergistic strength, Vinachem in 2025 signed numerous strategic cooperation agreements with major domestic partners across multiple fields:

• January 2025: Signed cooperation agreements with Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) and Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT);
• April 2025: Signed strategic cooperation with Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam);
• June 2025: A cooperation agreement for the 2025–2030 period was signed between Vinachem and Hanoi University of Science and Technology; a Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement between Vietnam National Coal – Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (TKV) and Vinachem was solemnly signed.
• August 2025: Signed cooperation agreement with the Institute for Industrial Policy and Strategy Research (VIOIT) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Hanoi;
• November 2025: Signed comprehensive cooperation agreement with Saigon – Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB);

5. International Cooperation: Signing with British Partner Witnessed by High-level Officials

Reaching out to the international market, Vinachem made a notable mark at the Vietnam-UK High-level Economic Conference held in London at the end of October 2025. Here, Vinachem signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Robertet Group of the United Kingdom, directly witnessed by General Secretary To Lam and the Vietnamese high-level leadership delegation. The signing within the framework of a national-scale bilateral economic conference demonstrates Vinachem's prestige and integration capacity on the international stage. This event opens up cooperation opportunities in the field of fragrances and cosmetic chemicals with a leading European partner, while affirming that the Vinachem brand is ready to reach far, proactively participating more deeply in the global value chain.

6. Representative Congresses and Conferences

Party building, mass organizations and patriotic emulation movements have always been emphasized by Vinachem, reflected through a series of solemn congress and conference events in 2025:

• June 16, 2025: Successfully organized the 6th Vinachem Patriotic Emulation Congress (2025–2030 period) in Hanoi, launching a new emulation movement, encouraging all Group employees to strive to excellently complete their tasks.
• Early July 2025: The 4th Party Congress of Vietnam National Chemical Group (2025–2030 term) took place successfully, electing an Executive Committee of 32 members; Mr. Phung Quang Hiep continued to be trusted to hold the position of Party Secretary of the Group.
• October 2025: Vinachem actively participated in the 1st Government Party Organization Congress (2025–2030 term). At the achievement exhibition celebrating the Congress, Vinachem's display booth was honored to welcome Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and many high-level leaders to visit, highly appreciating the contribution of the chemical industry to the country.
• November 6, 2025: The Group organized the Conference on Science and Technology – Innovation – Digital Transformation for the 2021–2025 period, setting out strategic directions to 2030.
• November 11, 2025: The 10th Trade Union Congress of Vietnam National Chemical Group Head Office (2025–2030 term) took place solemnly in Phu Tho. The Congress summarized the workers', officials', and employees' movement of the past term and outlined directions for the next 5 years with the theme "Innovation, creativity, for workers and sustainable development of the Group".

These events show that political and spiritual life at Vinachem is very vibrant. Emulation movements, science and technology conferences and mass organization activities have contributed to consolidating internal solidarity and creating motivation to excellently complete production and business tasks.

7. Vinachem's Imprint at the 80th National Day Exhibition and Autumn Fair 2025

In the series of events celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2 (1945–2025), Vinachem actively participated in the Exhibition of Socio-economic Achievements for 80 years "Journey of Independence – Freedom – Happiness" held in September 2025. At the National Exhibition Center (Hanoi), Vinachem's display booth became a highlight attracting nearly 1 million visitors, while being honored to welcome many Party and State leaders to visit. Vinachem brought to the exhibition representative products and outstanding achievements of the chemical industry, thereby promoting the image of a leading, innovative and sustainably developing state economic group throughout the country's 80-year journey.
Following that success, Vinachem also made its mark at the Autumn Fair 2025 – a major trade promotion event at the end of the year. At the Fair's Closing Ceremony (November 3, 2025), Vinachem was awarded the "Outstanding Display Space" prize thanks to its meticulous investment and creativity in booth design. This award not only affirms the appeal of Vinachem products to consumers, but also demonstrates the Group's efforts in brand promotion and expanding the domestic market.

8. Contributing to the Community Through Social Welfare Activities

Promoting the spirit of responsibility to the community, Vinachem in 2025 implemented many practical social welfare activities nationwide. Responding to the temporary housing eradication movement launched by the Prime Minister, the Group sponsored the construction of charity houses for disadvantaged families in Quang Tri province, helping people have more solid homes. In addition, Vinachem regularly organizes charitable programs: giving gifts and scholarships to poor, studious students; providing material support to workers in remote and isolated areas, demonstrating the tradition of "mutual love and affection" of a state-owned enterprise for the community.

Especially, during the historic storm and flood disaster at the end of 2025, Vinachem promptly provided relief to flood-affected compatriots in many provinces and cities in the North, Central and South Central regions. The Group's working delegation directly visited and donated a total of nearly 16.6 billion VND in cash along with many supplies and essentials – including hundreds of kg of disinfectant chemicals (Chloramine B) and cleaning products manufactured by Vinachem's subsidiaries – to help people overcome the aftermath of the flood. In parallel, Vinachem also actively coordinated with functional agencies to contribute to ensuring environmental hygiene after natural disasters. On November 25, 2025, at the Ministry of Health headquarters, the Group donated 10 tons of Chloramine B and 10 tons of Vi-Chlorine and committed to sponsoring all disinfectant chemicals and water treatment for Central and Central Highlands provinces affected by rain and floods. These meaningful activities clearly demonstrated Vinachem's humanitarian spirit, making practical contributions to help people overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

9. Record-breaking Revenue and Profit; Ending Historical Accumulated Losses

In 2025, Vinachem achieved the most brilliant production and business achievements to date. The total industrial production value of the Group is estimated at 61,381 billion VND (up 10.3% compared to 2024); consolidated revenue is estimated at 64,362 billion VND (exceeding the annual plan by 12.7%, up 8.2% compared to 2024); consolidated profit reached approximately 3,859 billion VND (exceeding the plan by 44.8%, up 73.3% compared to 2024). All major indicators showed impressive growth, bringing Vinachem's revenue and profit to the highest level in operational history. Thanks to these results, Vinachem officially eliminated accumulated losses that had persisted from previous years, completing ahead of schedule a key objective of the 2021–2025 five-year plan. This is truly a historic turning point, reflecting the effectiveness of the enterprise restructuring process and the flexible management capacity of the Group's leadership amid many challenges.

At the member subsidiary level, many new records were also established in the past year. The fertilizer industry group – Vinachem's core business sector – recorded outstanding profit growth; many companies achieved and exceeded their annual profit plans from the first half of 2025. Notably, DAP – Vinachem Joint Stock Company achieved the highest revenue and profit in the company's history, while leading in profit throughout the Group; Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company became the first subsidiary in Vinachem to reach the milestone of over 10,000 billion VND in annual revenue, setting a new record in the 50-year history of this enterprise as well as of Vietnam National Chemical Group. The impressive figures above have affirmed Vinachem's position, evidence of strong resilience in overcoming difficulties and the effectiveness of the right development strategy.

10. Launching the 2026–2030 Development Strategy: Science and Technology, Digital Transformation and Green Development

With the foundation of victory in 2025, Vinachem confidently enters the 2026–2030 period by implementing a new 5-year Development Strategy. The Group identifies science and technology, innovation, digital transformation and green development as key growth drivers. From 2026, Vinachem will promote the production of high-tech chemicals serving electronics, renewable energy, technical rubber, batteries, while bringing pharmaceutical chemicals into the strategy and gradually forming concentrated chemical industrial parks. In the consumer market, Vinachem is expanding its product portfolio and strongly developing the VinachemMart e-commerce channel. The Group also focuses on enhancing the national brand, increasing charter capital and investing in high-quality human resources.

Vinachem sets a goal to maintain double-digit growth in the coming years, continuing to promote the spirit of initiative, creativity and green development culture. Every cadre, worker and employee strives to enhance their professional skills, together with the Group conquering new heights, actively contributing to the country's industrialization and modernization.

The year 2025 closed with many outstanding successes: outstanding production and business growth, key projects promoted, solid organizational structure, improved workers' lives.
