From March 11 to March 14, 2026, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam National Chemical Group organized a training program for Controllers from its Southern member units. The program was implemented to enhance professional capacity and control expertise, thereby contributing to improved governance effectiveness and internal control across the Group.

The program was attended and directed by Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, Deputy General Director of the Group. A total of 34 participants joined the course, including Controllers and employees working at joint-stock companies in which the Group holds 50% or more of charter capital in the Southern region, along with several staff members involved in control and internal control functions within enterprises.

The training program featured instructors and experts from Smartlife Vietnam Co., Ltd., an organization with experience in corporate governance skills training and human resource development. Through a modern teaching approach combining theory and practice, the instructors delivered practical and job-relevant content tailored to the needs of Controllers.

Within the framework of the course, participants studied a range of key topics, including: the role of Controllers in enterprises; risk management and its application in control activities; the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance work efficiency; problem-solving and decision-making skills; and advanced financial analysis to support inspection and supervision tasks.

The training sessions were conducted in a dynamic, disciplined, and responsible atmosphere. Participants attended fully, actively engaged in discussions, expressed their views, and shared practical experiences from their work. Notably, through group discussions and practical exercises, participants had the opportunity to apply knowledge to real-life scenarios, thereby improving teamwork skills, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities in practice.

In his remarks at the program, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang emphasized the critical role of Controllers in ensuring that business operations are conducted transparently, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations. He encouraged participants to uphold a strong sense of responsibility, proactively absorb knowledge, and apply it flexibly in their work, contributing to the enhancement of control quality across the Group.

The 2026 Controller Training Program is one of the Group’s practical initiatives in human resource training and development, demonstrating its strong commitment to improving staff capacity and meeting the demands of modern governance and sustainable development in the new context.
