On the occasion of the 97th anniversary of Vietnam Trade Union Day (July 28, 1929 – July 28, 2026), the leadership of the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) presented flowers and extended congratulations to the Vietnam National Chemical Industry Trade Union, recognizing and commending the union’s significant contributions to the Group’s development as well as its efforts in safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of employees.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Phung Quang Hiep, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Members’ Council; Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Members’ Council, and President and CEO; Mr. Nguyen Van Quy, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Tuan Minh, Head of the Party Committee’s Communications and Education Commission and Member of the Members’ Council; Mr. Le Hoang, Deputy CEO; Mr. Nguyen Anh Quyen, Secretary of the Group’s Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; together with leaders of the Group’s specialized departments.

On behalf of Vinachem’s leadership, Mr. Phung Quang Hiep extended his best wishes to all union officials, members, and trade union personnel across the chemical industry on the traditional day of the Vietnam Trade Union.

He emphasized that in recent years, the Vietnam National Chemical Group has steadily overcome numerous challenges, strengthened its position, and achieved encouraging results in production and business operations. These achievements, he noted, have been supported by the important role of the Vietnam National Chemical Industry Trade Union, which has served as a bridge between the enterprise and its employees while working closely with management to improve workers’ material and spiritual well-being and protect their legitimate rights and interests.

According to Mr. Phung Quang Hiep, the Group’s development journey reflects the unity, resilience, and collective determination of employees across the chemical industry. Throughout this process, the trade union has demonstrated responsibility, professionalism, and dedication, helping to strengthen trust, build consensus, and inspire commitment among the workforce. The Group’s leadership highly appreciates and commends the efforts and contributions made by union officials and trade union organizations at all levels.

Mr. Phung Quang Hiep noted that although the Group achieved positive business results and fulfilled many key targets during the first six months of 2026, the tasks for the remaining six months of the year will be even more demanding in order to achieve the Group’s growth objectives. He therefore called on the entire organization to make even greater efforts, act more decisively, and continue fostering solidarity and a strong sense of responsibility among all employees.

In this context, he urged the Vietnam National Chemical Industry Trade Union to continue serving as a trusted support for employees while promoting labor emulation movements, encouraging innovation, and advancing technical improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and work efficiency. Alongside caring for employees and protecting their legitimate rights and interests, the union should actively encourage workers to share the enterprise’s goals and work together with management to create a vibrant atmosphere of healthy competition across the industry, contributing to the successful completion of the Group’s 2026 production and business plan.

He also called on the trade union to continue renewing its activities and operating methods, proactively understand employees’ aspirations, and help build harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations within the enterprise. Vinachem’s leadership, he affirmed, will continue to support and create favorable conditions for the trade union to further strengthen its role as a reliable pillar for union members and employees, and as an important contributor to the rapid and sustainable development of the Vietnam National Chemical Group.

On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam National Chemical Industry Trade Union, Mr. Nguyen Huy Thong, Chairman of the Trade Union, expressed his sincere appreciation for the close guidance and support provided by the Group’s Party Committee, Members’ Council, and leadership over the years.

He affirmed that the Vietnam National Chemical Industry Trade Union will continue to uphold its tradition of solidarity, renew its activities and working methods, effectively represent and protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees, while strengthening cooperation with management, promoting patriotic emulation campaigns, and encouraging innovation and technical improvements to enhance labor productivity and operational efficiency throughout the Group.

Mr. Nguyen Huy Thong emphasized that trade union officials will continue to uphold their sense of responsibility, work alongside both the enterprise and its employees, and strive to successfully fulfill all assigned tasks, thereby contributing to the achievement of the Group’s 2026 production and business objectives. With employees at the center of its mission, the Vietnam National Chemical Industry Trade Union will continue serving as a strong bridge between workers and the enterprise, fostering harmonious and stable labor relations while supporting the shared goal of building the Vietnam National Chemical Group into a faster-growing, more sustainable, modern, and competitive enterprise in the new stage of development.

He also expressed his hope that the Vietnam National Chemical Industry Trade Union will continue to receive the attention, leadership, and guidance of the Group’s Party Committee, Members’ Council, and executive leadership in the years ahead, enabling the organization to successfully fulfill its responsibilities, strengthen the trade union system, and accompany the Group on its path toward sustainable development.
