Vinachem Meets with News and Press Agencies on the Occasion of the 101st Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 – June 21, 2026)

On the afternoon of June 2, the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) held a meeting with news and press agencies to mark the 101st anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 – June 21, 2026), expressing gratitude for the support and companionship of the press in the Group’s activities over the past years.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Lê Quốc Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhân Dân Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association; Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Lâm, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mobilization Commission, General Director of Vietnam Television; Ms. Đinh Thị Mai, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mobilization Commission; along with leaders from many central and local press agencies and a large number of journalists, reporters, and editors.

Representing Vinachem were Mr. Phùng Quang Hiệp – Party Secretary, Chairman of the Members’ Council; Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú – Deputy Party Secretary, Member of the Members’ Council, General Director; members of the Members’ Council, Board of General Directors, and leaders of member units.

At the meeting, delegates reviewed outstanding achievements in production and business, Party-building, and the development process of the Vietnam National Chemical Group in recent times. Despite facing many difficulties and challenges, Vinachem has maintained positive growth, secured jobs and income for workers, and promoted digital transformation, green transition, technological innovation, and competitiveness.

Communication work has also seen positive changes, playing a crucial role in building the Group’s image, brand, and reputation. In 2025 and the first months of 2026, hundreds of news articles, reports, and features about Vinachem and its member units have appeared in central and local press outlets and digital media platforms, helping to spread the image of a dynamic, innovative, and sustainable Vinachem.

Media content has focused on reflecting business results, corporate restructuring, digital transformation, green transition, innovation, labor emulation movements, social welfare activities, and environmental protection. Many major Vinachem events have received attention and support from the media, such as the Launching Ceremony of the Chemical Industry Green Transition Program, activities commemorating the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh linked to the green movement in the chemical industry, trade promotion and international cooperation conferences, and successful business models at member units.

Thanks to the support of the press, the image of a dynamic and sustainably developing Vinachem is being widely disseminated, helping to enhance the Group’s reputation among partners, customers, and the community.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Phùng Quang Hiệp – Party Secretary, Chairman of the Members’ Council – extended his best wishes to the news and press agencies and all journalists, reporters, and editors on the occasion of the 101st anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

The Chairman emphasized that President Ho Chi Minh once stated: “Press officers are also revolutionary soldiers. Their pens and pages are their sharp weapons.” For the business community in general and Vinachem in particular, the press is not only a source of information but also a reliable companion and an important bridge to help spread innovation, positive values, and the development aspirations of enterprises to the community and society.

Updating on the Group’s activities, the Chairman of the Members’ Council shared that despite ongoing global economic uncertainties, Vinachem’s production and business have maintained positive results in the first five months of 2026.

Especially in the context of fluctuating global fertilizer prices, Vinachem has prioritized ensuring supply and stabilizing the domestic market, supporting agricultural production and macroeconomic stability. According to him, this is not only a business responsibility but also a mission for the economy and Vietnamese farmers.

The Chairman affirmed that Vinachem is vigorously implementing green transition, digital transformation, scientific and technological development, and innovation as key drivers to enhance competitiveness and achieve sustainable development. The Group aims not for broad growth but for mastering technology, platforms, and value chains.

He also shared initial results in the Group’s digital transformation, notably the development of the Vinachemmart e-commerce platform and the launch of Vinachem Agriculture – an ecosystem connecting enterprises, scientists, experts, regulators, press agencies, and farmers. This platform aims not only to provide products but also to offer effective cultivation solutions, supporting the advancement of green, modern, and sustainable agriculture.

Mr. Phùng Quang Hiệp expressed gratitude for the press’s support over the years, affirming that Vinachem will continue to proactively and transparently provide information and create favorable conditions for press agencies to fulfill their mission, thereby spreading positive values of the chemical industry and the Vietnamese business community.

On this occasion, the Chairman wished all journalists good health, steadfast political will, professional ethics, and continued commitment to the tradition of “Bright eyes, pure hearts, sharp pens,” making positive contributions to the nation’s development.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Lê Quốc Minh – Member of the Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhân Dân Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association – thanked Vinachem’s leadership for their attention to journalists and appreciated the Group’s proactive and open approach to information provision and media cooperation.

The meeting took place in a warm and open atmosphere, reflecting the close and growing relationship between Vinachem and news and press agencies. It was also an opportunity for the Group to express appreciation for the journalists’ contributions in information and communication, and to affirm its desire for continued cooperation with the media in Vinachem’s journey of innovation, green transition, digital transformation, and sustainable development in the future.
