A trader reported lifting their offer levels by CNY100/ton in the local market while issuing $10-20/ton increases on their import offers today. According to him, the number of the inquiries they received has moved up although their trading activities are still slow as buyers mostly prefer to observe the market instead of committing to fresh purchases. "The reason that most buyers are in a wait-and-see mood is that they expect to see lower prices over the near term," he highlighted.
