India NALCO sells aluminium at $88.10/T premium-source
BHUBANESWAR India, June 9 (Reuters) - India's state-runNALCO (NALU.BO: Quote) has sold 9,000 tonnes of aluminium ingots to aSwiss firm at a premium of $88.10 per tonne, including cost andfreight over the average LME cash price, a company source saidon Wednesday.
The National Aluminium Co Ltd will supply the metal in sixcargoes of 1,500 tonnes each to Metcom International betweenJune and November, said the official who has direct knowledgeof the contract but could not be named due to company policy.
NALCO, the tenders of which serve as an internationalbenchmark, last month sold 10,000 tonnes of aluminium ingots tothe same company, at a premium of $85.10 per tonne over the LMEcash price on a cost, insurance and freight basis.
