LME metal prices remain negative

LONDON (Commodity Online): London Metal Exchange base metal prices continued negative trend on Thursday.

LME copper ticked down on Thursday amid thin volumes, after posting its biggest daily drop in more than a week in the previous session as disappointing economic data from both sides of the Atlantic dented the outlook for demand.

LME Price Highlights:

--Aluminium alloy slipped 1.01% to $1950 a metric ton

--Aluminium slipped 0.82% to $2047 per metric ton

--Copper slipped 1% to $8316 a metric ton

--Lead dipped 1.81% to $2104 per metric ton

--Nickel dipped 0.28% to $ 17375 a metric ton

--Tin slipped 1.01% to $22000 per metric ton

--Zinc dipped 1.38% to $ 2000 a metric ton

--Steel dipped 4.11% to $466 per metric ton
