LME nickel goes up and down slightly currently
It is reported that LME nickel price has ended it uptrend in the past one month and slid slightly in the current two days due to weak demand in stainless steel market.
Meanwhile, the latest price of three months delivery was at USD 23,475 per tonne; the spot price was at USD 23,406 per tonne and the stock volume was around 120,410 tonnes.
However, the downtrend doesn’t affect the stainless steel market obviously. Makers indicate that if the nickel price doesn’t dip further, the stainless steel price will remain stable in a short time.
