Lam Thao Superphosphate and Chemicals Joint Stock Company has recently been officially recognised by the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Phu Tho Province as an organisation qualified to conduct fertiliser trials. This marks a significant milestone, affirming the company’s research capacity, scientific and technological application, and standing in the fertiliser sector.

The decision was issued in accordance with the 2018 Law on Crop Production, relevant amendments and supplements, and the Government’s system of decrees on fertiliser management, crop production, and plant protection. It also represents the outcome of a comprehensive evaluation of Lam Thao’s professional capability, infrastructure, technical procedures, and scientific staff.

This recognition is not only a legal requirement but also reflects a new step in Lam Thao’s journey towards scientific and technological mastery. From its roots as a company with a long-standing tradition in fertiliser production, Lam Thao continues to enhance its research capability, proactively conducting trials to evaluate product effectiveness directly in the field.

Through these trials, fertiliser products are tested under actual cultivation conditions, tailored to specific soil types, ecological zones, and crop groups. This process strengthens the link between scientific research and practical production, ensuring that each product is objectively assessed for effectiveness, stability, and adaptability before reaching farmers.

This foundation also enables Lam Thao to further research and develop specialist fertiliser lines, aiming to improve soil health, increase fertiliser use efficiency, boost crop yields, and support a green, safe, and sustainable agriculture in the face of rising market demands and the impacts of climate change.

Being certified to conduct fertiliser trials not only affirms Lam Thao’s scientific reputation and capability, but also contributes to improving the quality of Vietnamese fertiliser products, providing farmers with effective, reliable, and sustainable cultivation solutions.
