At the opening whistle, the football pitch at the 2026 Southern Region Vinachem Employee Sports Festival really “heated up.” On the field, fierce challenges, precise passes, and dangerous shots were constantly created. In the stands, the sound of drums, cheers, and colourful flags from each unit blended together, creating an atmosphere as lively as any football festival.

This year’s men’s mini football event featured eight teams from: LIX Detergent JSC, Southern Battery JSC (PINACO), Southern Rubber Industry JSC (CASUMINA), Binh Dien Fertilizer JSC, Can Tho Fertilizer and Chemicals JSC, Southern Fertilizer JSC, Vietnam Fumigation JSC, and Da Nang Rubber JSC (DRC).

The teams were divided into two groups, A and B, playing round-robin matches to select the top four for the semi-finals.

From the group stage to the knockouts, all matches were played at a high tempo. Teams with technical advantages controlled play, organised coherent attacks, and created many dangerous opportunities. Meanwhile, the remaining teams fought with determination, were not afraid of challenges, and relentlessly chased every opportunity to score. This spirit of dedication from all teams brought beautiful plays, exciting matchups, and a lively atmosphere throughout the tournament.

Many matches featured thrilling end-to-end action. Sometimes, the outcome seemed decided but a quick counter-attack or a well-coordinated move could change the whole game. The teams’ fighting spirit kept matches attractive right up to the final whistle.

Entering the semi-finals, the technical quality continued to rise. In the first semi-final, LIX Detergent JSC overcame DRC with cohesive play and capitalised well on opportunities to reach the final. Meanwhile, CASUMINA and Binh Dien Fertilizer JSC offered a fast-paced, fiercely contested encounter, with CASUMINA making the most of their chances to secure the other spot in the final.

The final between LIX and CASUMINA lived up to expectations. Both teams entered confidently, played open football, and maintained constant pressure on their opponents. Teamwork, quick transitions, and passionate play made for a gripping final, cheered on non-stop from the stands.

With stability in play and clinical finishing, LIX Detergent JSC were crowned champions. CASUMINA took second place, while DRC and Binh Dien Fertilizer JSC shared third.

Importantly, throughout all matches, the teams not only delivered quality football but also demonstrated true sportsmanship. Battles were fierce but fair, players always respected their opponents, and everyone strictly followed the rules and referees’ decisions. After each match, handshakes and words of encouragement were exchanged, true to the “Solidarity – Honesty – Nobility – Progress” spirit the festival aims to foster.

If on the pitch, the players gave their all, off the pitch, the energy was just as electric. Colleagues, families, and supporters cheered, blew horns, waved flags, and held up banners. Every save and every goal received thunderous applause, motivating the players to give their best every minute.

At the end of the tournament, the championship cup went to LIX Detergent JSC. Yet the greatest value was seeing Vinachem employees giving their all on the pitch, playing with unity, honesty, and responsibility. The smiles after each match and the enthusiastic support from the crowd created a truly meaningful festival, leaving beautiful memories at the 2026 Southern Region Vinachem Employee Sports Festival.
