On the evening of April 22, 2026, at the Multipurpose Hall, Lam Thao Superphosphate and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (LAFCHEMCO) hosted a reception for athlete delegations and officials attending the 2026 Hung Vuong Cup Volleyball Tournament—a prominent sporting event in the Land of the Ancestors, with LAFCHEMCO continuing as the main sponsor.

The event was attended by provincial leaders, representatives from various departments, the tournament organizing committee, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation, leaders of Vietnam Chemical Group, local authorities from Lam Thao commune, and central and local press agencies.

The most notable point is that LAFCHEMCO has officially entered its second consecutive year as the main sponsor, affirming its commitment not as a temporary gesture but as a long-term strategic direction for the company’s support of national sports. In his address, Mr. Phạm Thanh Tùng emphasized: "Continuing as the main sponsor for the second consecutive year clearly demonstrates the Company’s long-term strategy to accompany Vietnamese sports. Building on last year’s success, in 2026, the Company and the Organizing Committee will further enhance professional standards, improve organization, expand the tournament’s scale, and more strongly promote cultural and sporting values."

The special banquet welcomed the eight best volleyball clubs that passed the first phase of the 2026 National Championship to compete in the Hung Vuong Cup. A highlight of the program was the honoring ceremony, where flowers and financial support were presented to the clubs—not only recognizing their efforts but also providing practical encouragement and motivation for the athletes ahead of important matches.

The 2026 Hung Vuong Cup Volleyball Tournament takes place from April 23 to 26, 2026, at the Phu Tho Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center. Coinciding with the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day, the tournament carries a dual meaning—it serves as a high-level sporting arena and as a cultural event honoring the tradition of “Remembering the Source,” celebrating national roots and fostering pride.
