In the vibrant atmosphere of emulation celebrating the 116th anniversary of International Women’s Day (March 8, 1910 – March 8, 2026) and the 1,986th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, on the morning of March 6, 2026, Ha Bac Nitrogen Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company organized a ceremony to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8 and to review women’s affairs in 2025. The conference was an opportunity to look back on the efforts of female staff, employees, and workers, while affirming the role, position, and important contributions of women to the Company’s sustainable development.

Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Huy Thong – Chairman of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union; Ms. Dao Thi Phuong Loan – Deputy Head of the Women’s Affairs Committee of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union; the Company’s leaders, leaders of several departments and units, the Women’s Affairs Committee, members of the Executive Committee, Trade Union chairpersons, and heads of women’s affairs sections of affiliated units.

The report presented at the conference showed that in 2025, the movement of female workers in the Company continued to be implemented in a coordinated, practical, and effective manner. Following the direction of higher-level trade unions and the Company’s Trade Union, activities were strongly oriented toward grassroots units, focusing on caring for the material and spiritual well-being of female employees and protecting their legitimate rights and interests.

The emulation movement “Good at Work, Good at Home” continued to be maintained and widely developed. The movement’s content was concretized in connection with the production and business tasks of each unit and each job position. Many female employees not only fulfilled their professional duties well but also actively participated in technical innovation initiatives and production rationalization, contributing to improved labor productivity.

At the same time, the effort to build the image of “Vietnamese Women in the New Era” was implemented in association with studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and lifestyle. Through thematic meetings, seminars, and exchanges, female employees have increasingly improved their political awareness, professional qualifications, soft skills, and discipline in the workplace. Many women holding managerial positions such as department heads and deputy heads have effectively demonstrated their leadership and management capacity, affirming the role of women in corporate governance and management.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Dung – Secretary of the Party Committee and General Director of the Company – acknowledged and praised the significant contributions of female employees over the past year. Despite ongoing production difficulties and increasingly high requirements for safety, productivity, and quality, female employees have continued to make great efforts to overcome challenges, balancing work and family responsibilities, and living up to the title “Good at Work, Good at Home.” He affirmed that the Company will continue to create favorable conditions for women to receive training and professional development, while paying greater attention to healthcare, working conditions, and the overall well-being of female employees.

As the conference concluded, what remained was not only the figures in the reports or the awards presented, but also renewed confidence and determination. With the close attention of the Company’s leadership and the Trade Union organization, together with the solidarity and creativity of female employees, it is believed that women’s affairs at Ha Bac Nitrogen Fertilizer in 2026 and the coming years will continue to achieve many successes, contributing practically to the stable and sustainable development of the Company as well as the Vietnam National Chemical Group, as emphasized in the remarks of Mr. Nguyen Huy Thong – Chairman of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union.

On this occasion, the Company also launched several practical activities in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, such as a women’s affairs radio program on the Company’s internal broadcasting system, the traditional women’s badminton tournament, and the highlight activity of launching a week honoring “Ao Dai – Vietnam’s Cultural Heritage.” The image of female employees working at production sites while wearing traditional ao dai, in accordance with practical conditions, created a joyful atmosphere while ensuring absolute labor safety. It also demonstrated a spirit of responsibility combined with the beauty of tradition, contributing to building a positive corporate culture within the enterprise.
