To effectively implement the policies of the Party and Government on science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, and to concretise Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 79-NQ/TW, on 6th August 2026, Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) held a working session with Tri Tue Da Chieu Joint Stock Company to discuss strategies and digital transformation platforms across the Group.

The meeting was chaired by Vinachem’s Deputy General Director, Đào Trọng Cường, and attended by Members’ Council member Nguyễn Tuấn Minh, leaders from the Technical Department, the Chemical Science and Technology Information Centre, and other specialists from the Group. Experts from the Institute of Electronics, Informatics and Automation (Ministry of Industry and Trade) and Hanoi University of Science and Technology were also present.

At the session, representatives of Tri Tue Da Chieu Joint Stock Company presented trends in digital transformation for industrial enterprises, the overall architectural model, digital management platforms, centralised data management, smart operation systems, digital assistants, data analytics solutions and technology applications for management, operations, and production, aiming towards a digital enterprise and smart manufacturing.

Experts shared experiences in digital transformation implementation at state-owned enterprises and offered recommendations to help Vinachem build a digital transformation roadmap fitting its structure as an industrial group active in multiple fields—chemicals, fertilisers, rubber, and basic chemicals.

Discussions focused on developing Vinachem’s comprehensive digital transformation architecture, connecting and synchronising data between the parent company and member units, establishing a centralised database, applying artificial intelligence in management, data analysis and decision support, and planning phased deployment of digital platforms to ensure synchronisation, efficiency, and information security.

In his remarks, Deputy General Director Đào Trọng Cường emphasised that digital transformation is not simply about investing in technology but entails a comprehensive renewal of management, operations, and production organisation. For successful digital transformation, Vinachem must begin with the development of an overall architecture for the entire Group, creating a unified foundation in data, processes, and technology systems, and ensuring seamless connectivity between the parent company and its subsidiaries.

The Deputy General Director noted that, prior to implementing technology solutions, it is essential to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the Group’s digital infrastructure, data systems, management processes, and readiness for digital transformation. On this basis, a suitable phased roadmap should be developed, identifying priority tasks to gradually establish intelligent management and smart manufacturing models, ensuring effective investment, avoiding dispersion, and maximising the value of digital platforms.

Mr. Đào Trọng Cường requested that the Technical Department continue to act as the focal point for close cooperation with Tri Tue Da Chieu Joint Stock Company, experts, and relevant units to research and finalise Vinachem’s overall digital transformation architecture, and to advise on a specific implementation roadmap in line with the Group’s development strategy for 2026–2030. This will be a crucial foundation for Vinachem to effectively implement Resolutions No. 57-NQ/TW and 79-NQ/TW, foster innovation, and advance science, technology, and digital transformation throughout the Group.

At the conclusion of the session, the parties agreed to continue joint research and to refine the overall architecture model and technology platforms suitable for Vinachem’s particular context. The results will provide an essential basis for the Group to build a modern, synchronised digital ecosystem, improve management capacity, optimise production and business activities, and progressively realise the goal of becoming a digital enterprise, thereby contributing to the modern, green, and sustainable development of Vietnam’s chemical industry.
