Prior to the meeting, the delegation inspected the site of the “Deep Technology Investment, Quality Enhancement of Phosphoric Acid and MAP Fertiliser Production (Capacity: 60,000 tonnes/year)” project, received reports on progress, safety, environmental management, and challenges that need to be addressed to ensure timely completion. The delegation also reviewed operations at the company’s wharf, assessing infrastructure and logistics for production and business activities.

The General Director acknowledged the company’s proactive approach in investment and efficient use of infrastructure, contributing to greater competitiveness and sustainable development.
Focused Investment: Driving Growth
At the meeting, DAP-Vinachem’s leadership reported that since 2025 the company has implemented six construction investment projects. Of these, three have been completed and are delivering results; the other three are being actively carried out, meeting or exceeding the planned schedule.

Alongside ongoing projects, the company has developed an investment orientation for 2026–2030, aiming to enhance production capacity, diversify products, improve market adaptability, promote green transition, reduce emissions, and foster sustainable growth.

During the session, the delegation and company discussed key topics including the development of products for the electronics, semiconductor, and rare earth extraction industries; the plan for utilising a 3-hectare plot in Dinh Vu Economic Zone; the vision for a dedicated chemical industrial park; business results for the first seven months of the year; and priorities for the remaining five months of 2026.
Embracing Technological Innovation, Detailing Development Strategy
In his directive, General Director Nguyễn Hữu Tú commended DAP-Vinachem’s achievements, particularly its ability to maintain stable production, efficiently implement investment projects, and meet business objectives amid market fluctuations.

Regarding the deep technology investment project, he requested the company continue to focus resources to ensure project progress and quality; strictly control investment costs; comply with occupational safety and environmental regulations; and adequately prepare for early commissioning to maximise investment effectiveness, enhance product quality, and strengthen competitiveness.
For the wharf and logistics infrastructure, the General Director advised the company to develop more effective solutions to leverage existing assets, integrating logistics with raw material supply and product distribution. Maximising wharf capacity will not only reduce production costs and improve business efficiency but also enable expansion of logistics services and add value for the business.

On new development areas, he stressed the need for the company to concretise objectives and tasks in line with Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, as well as Resolution No. 79-NQ/TW on state economic development, to strengthen competitiveness and the state-owned sector’s leadership in key industries. The company should proactively research and develop products for the electronics, semiconductor, rare earth extraction, and high-tech chemical sectors; boost investment in R&D; and intensify cooperation with research institutes, universities, and capable partners to gradually form product chains with high scientific and technological content and added value, creating new growth drivers.
Regarding the plan to utilise the 3-hectare site in Dinh Vu Economic Zone and the vision for a dedicated chemical industrial park, he required the company to collaborate closely with Group specialists to review planning, finalise an integrated, modern, and effective investment plan; and seek to attract high-tech, environmentally friendly projects in line with the development strategy for Vietnam’s chemical industry.
Highlighting investment as a key driver for long-term growth, Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú requested the company promptly review and finalise its 2026–2030 development strategy, aligned with the Group’s overall strategy, identifying priority areas, key projects, implementation timelines, resource requirements, and organisational solutions, ensuring feasibility, effectiveness, and adaptability to new development demands.
In conclusion, the General Director urged the company’s leadership and staff to continue fostering unity, innovate management thinking, accelerate digital transformation, and advance science, technology, and innovation in line with Resolutions No. 57-NQ/TW and 79-NQ/TW; to build DAP-Vinachem Joint Stock Company into a modern, green, sustainable, and highly competitive chemical enterprise, maintaining its role as a core fertiliser and chemical producer within Vinachem, and making a positive contribution to the Group’s rapid and sustainable growth in 2026–2030.
