On 9th September 2026, Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company officially launched a rooftop solar power project at the Binh Dien – Long An Plant. With a capacity of 600 KVA, the system is expected to gradually meet the plant’s electricity needs by the end of 2027.

Increasing the Use of Clean Energy in Production

Investing in a rooftop solar system enables Binh Dien to harness renewable energy directly at its production facility, reducing reliance on the national grid during plant operations.

According to the plan, by the end of 2027, the solar system will gradually supply the plant’s production electricity needs. Alongside the addition of clean energy, the project is expected to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions during production.

This is one of several solutions Binh Dien is implementing as part of its green transition, in addition to equipment upgrades, energy saving, and the efficient use of raw materials and resources.
