In celebration of the successful organization of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, and especially the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Southern Rubber Industry Joint Stock Company – Casumina (April 19, 1976 – April 19, 2026), the Company’s Trade Union has launched an online running challenge themed “Casumina – Outstanding Strides.”

The running challenge is a meaningful cultural and sports activity aimed at improving the spiritual well-being of employees while creating a healthy playground for staff and workers across the Company and its affiliated units. Through this activity, the spirit of solidarity and pride in the Company’s tradition is promoted, while encouraging employees to strengthen their physical fitness and maintain a spirit of dedication and creativity in their work, thereby contributing to the successful fulfillment of the Company’s production and business objectives.

Participants include all staff members, workers, and employees currently working at units within the system. They will take part in groups established on the platform, including: Casumina, Southern Fertilizer, Pinaco, Casumina Office, Casumina Radial, Casumina Hoc Mon, and Casumina Binh Loi.

The running challenge is organized in an online format, with results recorded through sports applications. Participants will use the Strava application to track their running activities, which will then be synchronized with the 84RACE platform. The challenge will take place over 30 days, from 00:00 on February 25, 2026 to 23:59 on March 26, 2026. Each participant must register for a minimum distance of 50 km, with no limit on the total number of kilometers that can be accumulated during the challenge.

With its flexible online format, participants can run at any location and at times that suit their personal schedules. Running results will be automatically recorded and accumulated by the system, ensuring transparency through technical criteria such as valid running pace, GPS-enabled devices, and clear route maps.

Beyond promoting physical fitness, the running challenge also carries strong humanitarian significance. For every valid kilometer completed by participants, VND 1,000 will be contributed to the Company’s Fund for Supporting Employees in Difficult Circumstances, with the funding sourced from the Trade Union’s fund. This initiative demonstrates the spirit of solidarity and mutual support among Casumina employees.

The Organizing Committee will present both team and individual awards to outstanding runners and groups with excellent achievements. Notably, the Top 100 runners with the best results (60 men and 40 women) who complete at least 50 km will receive commemorative sports shirts and limited-edition medals celebrating Casumina’s 50th anniversary. All participants who complete the challenge will receive a certificate of completion.

The “Casumina – Outstanding Strides” running challenge is not only a meaningful sporting activity marking the 50-year milestone of Casumina’s establishment and development, but also helps promote a culture of health, strengthen unity, and foster a positive corporate culture throughout the entire system.
