On the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet), Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang, Member of the Party Central Committee and President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, visited, extended New Year greetings, and encouraged officers and employees of Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company. Accompanying the delegation was Comrade Le An Hai, President of the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union.

The delegation was welcomed by Comrade Nguyen Van Quy, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam National Chemical Group; Comrade Nguyen Huy Thong, President of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union; along with representatives of the Company’s leadership and a large number of officers and employees.

At the working session, Comrade Do Van Tuan, General Director of Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company, reported to the delegation on the Company’s production and business performance as well as employee welfare activities. Accordingly, in 2025, despite numerous challenges, thanks to the solidarity and strong efforts of its leadership and workforce, the Company basically fulfilled all assigned production and business targets. Employment and workers’ living conditions were stably maintained, with an average income of VND 15.5 million per person per month. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, employees received an average bonus of VND 27 million per person, demonstrating the Company’s tangible care for its workforce.

In his remarks, Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and resilience of the Company’s leadership and employees. He commended the positive results achieved in maintaining stable production while ensuring both material and spiritual well-being for workers.

He emphasized the important role of emulation movements promoting skilled and creative labor, as well as technical innovations and improvements, in enhancing productivity, quality, and overall business efficiency. He urged the Company and trade union organizations at all levels to continue encouraging and creating favorable conditions for employees to promote initiatives and creativity; to further advance technical improvement and production rationalization movements; and to promptly honor and reward collectives and individuals with effective initiatives, thereby spreading the spirit of innovation and creativity, contributing to sustainable enterprise development and improved employee income.

On behalf of the leadership of Vietnam National Chemical Group, Comrade Nguyen Van Quy expressed sincere appreciation for the timely attention and encouragement from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour. He affirmed that the Group and its member units would continue to closely coordinate with trade union organizations in caring for and protecting the lawful and legitimate rights and interests of employees, and in building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Huy Thong, President of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union, expressed his gratitude for the close guidance and heartfelt concern shown by the leadership of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour and the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union toward employees throughout the Group. He affirmed that the companionship and support from higher-level trade unions serve as a great source of motivation, helping trade union officials and workers in the chemical industry feel secure in their work, further promoting responsibility, solidarity, creativity, and emulation in production, thereby successfully fulfilling assigned tasks.

On this occasion, Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang personally presented meaningful Tet gifts to workers facing difficult circumstances, reflecting the profound care of the Party, the State, trade union organizations, and leaders at all levels for employees’ living conditions, contributing to a warmer and more fulfilling Tet for them.

The visit, New Year greetings, and gift presentation took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, strengthening confidence and motivation for the leadership, officers, and employees of Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company to enter the new year with high determination and strive to successfully accomplish their assigned production and business tasks.
