On July 30, Ninh Binh Phosphate Fertilizer Joint Stock Company held its conference to review Party-building activities and business performance for the first half of 2026, while outlining key tasks for the remaining six months of the year.

Despite rising raw material, fuel, and transportation costs, as well as continued volatility in the fertilizer market driven by agricultural commodity prices and weather conditions, the Company maintained stable production and achieved solid growth across several key performance indicators during the first half of the year.

According to the conference report, industrial production value at current prices reached VND 938.9 billion, up 27.4% compared with the same period in 2025. Revenue totaled VND 891.1 billion, equivalent to 62.6% of the annual target and an increase of 8.2% year-on-year. Pre-tax profit reached VND 120.6 billion, up 37.4%, fulfilling 67% of the annual plan. The Company contributed VND 25.4 billion to the state budget.

Production of fused magnesium phosphate fertilizer reached 147,699 tonnes, an increase of 9.4%, while NPK fertilizer output rose 6.2% to 23,180 tonnes. Total sales volume reached 162,586 tonnes, including 141,765 tonnes of fused magnesium phosphate fertilizer and 20,821 tonnes of NPK fertilizer.

In export markets, alongside maintaining long-standing customers, the Company successfully developed pelletized phosphate products for Indonesia and exported 5,000 tonnes of pelletized phosphate fertilizer to Ghana, further expanding its international market presence.

Average monthly income for employees reached VND 21.76 million, up 48.7% compared with the same period last year. The Company also organized vocational training in fertilizer production for 36 workers. No workplace accidents or environmental incidents were recorded during the first six months of the year.

Improving production efficiency was one of the conference's key topics.

At the Blast Furnace Workshop, production remained stable despite fluctuations in the quality of input materials. During the first half of 2026, the workshop produced 135,850 tonnes of intermediate products, achieving 54.3% of its annual target.

In the second half of the year, the Company will continue tightening raw material quality control, optimizing production formulas, extending furnace operating cycles, strengthening equipment maintenance, and promoting technical innovations to reduce material consumption and improve productivity.

For its product portfolio, the Company will continue improving the quality of powdered phosphate fertilizer, lowering production costs for pelletized phosphate products, and developing products for export markets. Regarding NPK fertilizers, priorities include refining new formulations, improving solubility, reducing powdering, and upgrading production equipment to diversify product offerings.

Market development has been identified as a key priority for the remainder of the year. Business units will closely monitor supply and demand, adjust sales policies accordingly, strengthen the distribution network, and work closely with distributors to better understand farmers' needs.

For exports, the Company will continue seeking new business partners, develop more competitive pricing policies, and participate in trade promotion programs in Malaysia, Cambodia, and several other potential markets.

Alongside production and business activities, Party-building work continued to be implemented effectively. The Company's Party Committee currently has 111 members across nine Party cells. During the first half of 2026, three new Party members were admitted, three probationary members were granted full Party membership, and three members received the 30-Year Party Membership Badge.

Addressing the conference, Pham Manh Ninh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors, called on all departments and production units to focus on product quality control, cost reduction, productivity improvement, workforce development, expansion of both domestic and export markets, and the continued strengthening of occupational safety and environmental protection.

For the second half of 2026, the Company targets revenue of VND 532.4 billion and profit of VND 59.408 billion, while planning to produce 102,301 tonnes of fused magnesium phosphate fertilizer and 17,820 tonnes of NPK fertilizer.

Concluding the conference, Phung Quang Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Director, instructed all departments and production workshops to translate the Company's objectives into specific action plans, focusing on addressing challenges related to production, product quality, market development, and workforce management in order to achieve the Company's 2026 business targets.
