Comrade Phung Quang Hiep – A Distinguished Representative of the Chemical Industry at the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam
The 14th National Congress of Delegates of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, a major political event of the country, will be held in the Capital City of Hanoi from January 19 to January 25, with the participation of 1,586 delegates representing more than 5.6 million Party members nationwide. The Congress is convened under the motto “Unity – Democracy – Discipline – Breakthrough – Development,” reflecting the high political determination of the entire Party, people, and armed forces in the new stage of national development.
Attending the 14th National Congress, Comrade Phung Quang Hiep – Member of the Party Executive Committee of the Government, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairman of the Members’ Council of Vietnam National Chemical Group (VINACHEM) – is one of the distinguished delegates, representing the contingent of leaders of state-owned enterprises in the chemical industry, an important technical and economic sector of the national economy.
The 14th National Congress of the Party holds particularly important significance, setting strategic directions for the country’s development in the 2025–2030 period, with a vision toward 2045. The Congress will focus on discussing and adopting important documents, including: the Political Report of the 13th Central Committee; the Report summarizing a number of theoretical and practical issues of the socialist-oriented Renovation (Đổi mới) process over the past 40 years; the Report reviewing 15 years of implementation of the Party Charter (2011–2025) and orientations for its amendment and supplementation; and the Report reviewing the leadership and direction of the 13th Central Committee.
The selection of Comrade Phung Quang Hiep as a delegate to the 14th National Congress of the Party is not only a personal honor, but also a reflection of the Party’s recognition of the role, position, and significant contributions of the Party Committee of Vietnam National Chemical Group in leading the fulfillment of political tasks, production and business activities, restructuring, and the sustainable development of state-owned enterprises in recent years.
In his capacity as the head of Vietnam National Chemical Group, Comrade Phung Quang Hiep, together with the Group’s leadership collective, has focused on leading and directing the implementation of numerous solutions to innovate corporate governance, promote production and business activities, link economic development with the assurance of social welfare, environmental protection, digital transformation, and green transformation, thereby gradually enhancing competitiveness and the pillar role of the chemical industry in the national economy.
Participating in the 14th National Congress of the Party, Comrade Phung Quang Hiep represents the voice of cadres, Party members, and workers in the chemical industry, while demonstrating determination to join the entire Party and the people in successfully realizing the national development goals toward 2030, confidently advancing into a new era of development—the era of the Vietnamese nation’s rise for peace, independence, democracy, strength, prosperity, civilization, and happiness.
