Vietnam National Chemical Group Announces Decisions on Personnel Transfers and Appointments

On the afternoon of May 4, 2026, at the headquarters of Vietnam National Chemical Group, the Group held a ceremony to announce decisions regarding personnel appointments.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Phùng Quang Hiệp – Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Members; Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú – Deputy Party Secretary and CEO of the Group; members of the Party Committee Standing Board, the Board of Members, and representatives of specialized departments.

Previously, on April 10, 2026, the Group’s CEO signed decisions on personnel work, involving the transfer and appointment of two leaders at the Group’s headquarters. Specifically:

• According to Decision No. 219/QĐ-HCVN, the CEO decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Nguyễn Huy Quang – Chief of the Party Committee Office – as Chief of the Office of Vietnam National Chemical Group, for a fixed term.

• According to Decision No. 222/QĐ-HCVN, the CEO decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Đào Văn Đức – Deputy Head of the Secretariat to the Board of Members – as Deputy Head of the Legal Department of the Group, for a fixed term.

These decisions take effect from the date of signing.

In his assignment speech at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú, CEO of Vietnam National Chemical Group, on behalf of the Group’s leadership, congratulated Mr. Nguyễn Huy Quang and Mr. Đào Văn Đức on being trusted with these new roles. The CEO emphasized that this is a great honor but also a heavy responsibility, as the Group is striving to fulfill and exceed the targets and plans assigned by the Party, the Government, and the Ministry of Finance; aiming for double-digit growth and continuing to affirm its key, leading role in the chemical industry, making positive contributions to the nation’s socio-economic development.

The CEO expressed trust that, in their new positions, both comrades will continue to demonstrate their capabilities and experience. Mr. Nguyễn Huy Quang has had a long career and close attachment with member units before working at the Group’s headquarters; Mr. Đào Văn Đức has many years of service at the Group, including as Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union. These appointments recognize their dedication, training, and contributions over time.

The CEO requested that, immediately after receiving their assignments, both comrades quickly adapt to their new roles; and, together with the Office and Legal Department teams, foster solidarity and responsibility, effectively fulfill advisory and support functions, and help improve the Group’s management and operations. He also wished them good health, happiness, and success in their new assignments.

On behalf of the newly appointed comrades, Mr. Nguyễn Huy Quang expressed his honor at being assigned as Chief of the Group’s Office, and sincerely thanked the Party Committee, Board of Members, and the Executive Board for their trust and support. He deeply understood that this is not only an honor but also a great personal responsibility.

In his new position, he identified the main task of the Office as providing advice, synthesis, and effective support for the Group’s leadership; he pledged, with the Office team, to promote solidarity and responsibility to fulfill the assigned tasks well. He also hopes to continue receiving guidance from the Group’s leadership and close cooperation from departments and units so that the Office can fulfill its functions and tasks, contributing to the Group’s overall development.

The consolidation and supplementation of the Group’s leadership team continue to demonstrate Vietnam National Chemical Group’s attention to personnel organization, contributing to improved advisory and management effectiveness and meeting the requirements of the new development phase.
