Vietnam Institute of Industrial Chemistry Expands Cooperation, Bringing Scientific and Technological Products into Practical Production

01:10 PM @ Friday - 21 August, 2026

On 18 August 2026, the Vietnam Institute of Industrial Chemistry held meetings with Tam Dinh Apatit Investment Joint Stock Company – Lao Cai and DAP No. 2 Joint Stock Company – Vinachem. Discussions focused on the potential supply of products for production and the expansion of collaboration between units within the Vietnam National Chemical Group.

Discussions on Supplying Apatite Flotation Agents

During the meeting with Tam Dinh Apatit Investment Joint Stock Company – Lao Cai, the two parties discussed and negotiated matters relating to the contract for the supply of flotation agents for type 3 apatite ore.

The Institute has the capability to research and produce products for the mining sector. Based on the company’s practical needs, both sides discussed the supply of flotation agents, relevant conditions, and the details that must be agreed upon before cooperation is implemented.

Tam Dinh Apatit Investment Joint Stock Company – Lao Cai is preparing to commission a new ore processing line with a capacity of 250,000 tonnes per year. This provides the basis for further discussions on the supply of flotation agents for production once the line becomes operational.

For the Institute, supplying products that it has researched and produced for use in enterprises not only expands the market but also provides an opportunity to evaluate product quality in practice. Requirements arising during production also provide a foundation for the Institute to further improve its products and promote the commercialisation of scientific and technological research outcomes.

Strengthening Links with DAP No. 2 – Vinachem

On the same day, the Institute also met with DAP No. 2 Joint Stock Company – Vinachem to discuss ongoing collaboration.

The Institute and DAP No. 2 – Vinachem have previously worked together in researching and applying chemical products for DAP production. This serves as a foundation for further exchanges regarding technological needs, products, and potential collaborative areas in the near future.

On this occasion, the Institute presented a congratulatory bouquet to Mr. Trần Văn Khóa, newly appointed Deputy General Director of DAP No. 2 Joint Stock Company – Vinachem.

Likewise, the management of DAP No. 2 – Vinachem presented a congratulatory bouquet to Mr. Dương Mạnh Tiến, the new Director of the Vietnam Institute of Industrial Chemistry.

Bringing Research Closer to Production

The meetings with Tam Dinh Apatit – Lao Cai and DAP No. 2 – Vinachem provided the Institute with direct exchanges with production units regarding product needs, technology, and collaboration opportunities.

The Institute is committed to seeking products with practical application potential, staying closely aligned with the requirements of each unit and bringing products into real production settings. Through this process, the Institute obtains valuable feedback from enterprises to refine products and broaden the market for scientific and technological outputs.

In the future, the Institute will continue working with other units in the Vietnam National Chemical Group to survey production needs, seek new areas for cooperation, and accelerate the application of products and solutions developed by the Institute.

The connection between research institutions and production enterprises will foster more specific areas of cooperation, enabling more effective use of scientific and technological resources within the Group, and supporting the production and business activities of all units.
