Vipesco: Surpassing Targets with Consensus – Employees at the Heart of Development

On April 25, 2026, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Pesticide Joint Stock Company (VIPESCO) successfully held its 2026 Employee Delegate Conference and the first Periodic Dialogue of the year. The event took place in a lively, united atmosphere, recognizing outstanding business achievements in 2025 and discussing and agreeing on important solutions to further improve employee welfare and aim for strong growth in 2026.

Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú – CEO of Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem); Mr. Lê Ngọc Quang – Deputy CEO of the Group; Mr. Nguyễn Huy Thông – President of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union, along with 91 delegates representing nearly 400 employees from affiliated units.

2025 – VIPESCO Surpasses Targets on Multiple Key Indicators

Against a backdrop of significant volatility in the crop protection market, shortages of certain strategic active ingredients, changing tax policies, and intensifying competition, VIPESCO demonstrated clear management acumen and strong internal unity.

Mr. Nguyễn Thân, Party Secretary and CEO of Vipesco, reported on the implementation of the 2025 Employee Conference Resolution and outlined directions and tasks for 2026.

The parent company achieved revenue of VND 614.44 billion, up 7.70% over 2024 and exceeding the set plan. Pre-tax profit reached VND 29.27 billion, up 22.90% year-on-year and surpassing the plan by 27.27%. These results reflect the real effectiveness of cost management, flexible operations, and financial risk control.

R&D activities continued with 293 formulas applied in production; 11 existing products improved; 9 new formulas completed; and 90 field biological trials conducted. The quality control department inspected 3,753 samples, ensuring all products met standards before release.

Notably, the project to relocate the Binh Duong Agrochemical Plant to Tam Lap 2 Industrial Cluster (Phu Giao District) was approved by the General Meeting of Shareholders, laying an important foundation to enhance production capacity and meet increasing environmental and occupational safety requirements.

Genuine Employee Care – A Standout Highlight

Employee welfare remains a key feature at VIPESCO, with many policies exceeding the provisions of the Collective Labor Agreement.

Average income in 2025 reached VND 17,365,000/person/month; overtime was promptly paid. The bonus and welfare fund was supplemented, with total spending reaching VND 1.348 billion for the year.

In addition to mandatory insurance, the company also purchased 24/7 accident insurance for all employees; maintained periodic health check-ups; ensured provision of protective equipment, hazardous duty allowances, and regulated meal allowances.

Employees received annual vacation support; reimbursement for travel expenses during leave; and full implementation of bereavement, wedding, unexpected risk support, care for female employees, Tet gifts for retirees, support for seriously wounded veterans, and social security activities, reflecting a rich, humane corporate culture.

Promoting Grassroots Democracy – Employee Voices Heard

At the company-level conference, the CEO directly addressed employee questions with openness and candor; many issues were resolved on the spot, while others were noted for future review and action. This open exchange fostered consensus and strengthened employee trust in the company leadership.

The conference elected a Grassroots Inspectorate Board for the 2026–2028 term consisting of 5 members; amended, supplemented, and signed the Collective Labor Agreement; and adopted the Conference Resolution with high consensus.

2026 Plan – Targeting VND 720 Billion and Strategic Steps

In 2026, VIPESCO aims for total revenue of VND 720 billion; the parent company targets VND 681.589 billion in revenue and VND 20.204 billion in pre-tax profit.

The company plans to add about 300 new agents in key areas; boost digital distribution via TikTok, Tiki, and Vinachemmart; research 8 new product formulas; expand the range of household products; and implement VND 130.5 billion in investment for the plant relocation and equipment upgrade project.

At the same time, the company will continue to build a new salary scale as guided by the Group, add personnel for sales and research, and create conditions for employees to feel secure and committed to long-term service.

Recognition and Encouragement from the Group

In his directive speech at the conference, Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú – CEO of Vietnam National Chemical Group acknowledged and highly appreciated the company’s achievements over the past year, especially its best business results in the past five years; thorough and timely implementation of the Binh Duong Agrochemical Plant relocation project; and positive progress in brand building, market expansion, and employee welfare.

Entering 2026 and the 2026–2030 period, with ongoing market volatility, the CEO requested the company to strengthen management capacity, proactively develop response scenarios, and ensure revenue, profit, and employee income targets. He emphasized the determination to achieve double-digit growth along with improved profitability. The company is to review and leverage all resources; innovate market thinking toward providing integrated cultivation solutions (fertilizers – pesticides – technical consulting); and utilize the Vinachem Agriculture digital platform to reach farmers in a modern, efficient manner.

Additionally, the company should accelerate investment in building a new smart plant, applying science and technology to reduce costs, improve labor productivity and competitiveness; and pay even greater attention to both the material and mental well-being of employees, with an income growth trajectory aligned with business growth.

Emphasizing the role of people in sustainable development, the CEO affirmed that employees are the most valuable asset of the company. Every staff member must continue to uphold responsibility and effort in their roles, contributing to the company’s collective strength for sustainable development.

The CEO also informed that the Group is building a Research and Development Center and a system of key laboratories to support affiliated units in new product development, quality enhancement, and market expansion, including VIPESCO.

Confident in the unity, responsibility, and determination of the staff, the CEO expressed hope that VIPESCO will continue to grow strongly in 2026 and in the coming years, making positive contributions to the overall success of VINACHEM.
