On the morning of November 26, 2025, in Hanoi, Mr. Nguyễn Văn Luyện, Deputy General Director of the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem), held a meeting with Mr. Lutfor Rahman, the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Vietnam. Also present at the working session were representatives from the departments of Planning – Business, Technical, and Communication.

During the discussion, the two sides deliberated on cooperation opportunities in the fields of chemicals, rubber, fertilizers, and a number of other industrial products. Ambassador Lutfor Rahman expressed his desire to gain a deeper understanding of Vinachem's potential and strengths, and highly appreciated the Group's supply capacity and product quality.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyễn Văn Luyện stated that Vinachem is a state-owned economic group that plays a core role in Vietnam's chemical industry, supplying essential products for agriculture, industry, and daily life, while also contributing significantly to ensuring national food security. The Group currently owns a synchronized production system with many key member units, and its products are present in nearly 70 countries and territories, including demanding markets such as Japan, the US, and Europe.

The Deputy General Director of Vinachem expressed his hope that the Embassy of Bangladesh would serve as a bridge, promoting cooperation between Vinachem and Bangladeshi enterprises in the near future.
For his part, Ambassador Lutfor Rahman noted that Bangladesh is a populous country with a diverse culture and one of the fastest-growing economies in the world, with an average GDP growth rate of 6–7% per year over the past decade. He assessed that Vinachem's products, such as basic chemicals, fertilizers, rubber, batteries – accumulators, detergents, etc., all possess many competitive advantages and affirmed that he would actively act as a bridge to promote cooperation opportunities between the enterprises of the two countries.
