In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Southern Basic Chemicals Joint Stock Company (April 19, 1976 – April 19, 2026), on April 12, 2026, at the Long Thành Super Phosphate Plant Residential Area, the Company’s Trade Union, in coordination with the Plant’s Trade Union, organized a ceremony to inaugurate the “Pickleball Court” project and launch the 2026 Pickleball Tournament. 

In the first three months of 2026, fertilizer imports reached 914,422 tons, valued at over USD 303.25 million, down 32.24% in volume and 29.52% in value compared to the same period in 2025. 

Plasma-assisted ammonia (NH₃) synthesis is a green and sustainable method that uses renewable energy sources (such as wind and solar power) to activate nitrogen (N) and hydrogen (H) molecules. This approach enables the reaction to occur at much lower temperatures and pressures compared to the traditional Haber-Bosch process, thereby reducing CO₂ emissions and energy costs. 

As part of his working trip to Egypt, Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú – General Director of the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) – paid an official visit and held a working session with Mr. Nguyễn Nam Dương, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Egypt, along with the Vietnamese Trade Representative in Egypt. 

On April 14, 2026, in New Cairo (Egypt), the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) and Kayan for International Trade (Kayan Group) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for strategic cooperation, establishing a long-term partnership framework in the supply of apatite ore and the development of chemical and fertilizer product markets between the two parties.
