On the morning of October 30, 2025, the Vietnam – UK High-Level Economic Conference, themed "Towards a Stronger Partnership on Finance, Innovation, and Green Growth," took place solemnly at the Corinthia Hotel (London, United Kingdom), with the attendance and direction of leaders from both nations.

The conference gathered numerous corporations, financial institutions, investors, and businesses operating in the fields of energy, industry, finance, and technology, aiming to promote economic and investment cooperation between Vietnam and the United Kingdom.
The delegation of the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem), led by Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tú Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Members, and General Director and CEO of VINACHEM, along with leaders of several member units, attended the Conference. VINACHEM's presence at the forum demonstrates the enterprise's determination to foster international cooperation, technology transfer, and green development, aligning with the sustainable transition strategy of Vietnam's chemical industry.
Notably, during the ceremony for the exchange of cooperation agreements under the witness of Party and State leaders of the two countries, many memoranda of understanding and strategic agreements were signed between Vietnamese and UK enterprises. Among them was the cooperation agreement between VINACHEM and Robertet Group. The agreement focuses on research, development, and technology transfer in the production of chemicals, flavors (fragrances/aromas), and environmentally friendly materials.
This agreement marks a new development in the cooperative relationship between the two parties, opening opportunities to apply advanced UK technology in VINACHEM's green chemical and consumer product sectors, contributing to the realization of the Group's sustainable development goals.
Robertet is a world-leading group in the production of flavors, natural fragrances/aromas, and environmentally friendly green raw materials. The Group is currently a major, strategic partner of many VINACHEM member units, including Lix Detergent JSC and Hanoi Soap JSC, while also providing advanced technological solutions in the research and development of chemical and flavor products.

The signing of the cooperation agreement between VINACHEM and Robertet will not only open up opportunities to apply advanced green technology in the production of chemicals and consumer products but also create the potential to boost trade, expand international relations, and bring new opportunities to the system of member companies. This agreement contributes to enhancing competitiveness, promoting green transition and innovation, and affirming Vinachem's commitment to leading the sustainable development of Vietnam's chemical industry and positively contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.
